Suggest an awesome mouse pad for my magic mouse!

Well, I decided to go with this, bought it for $20+ including shipping through an Amazon merchant. I should have it here next week, and I'll report on it.

OK, so this Rocketfish mouse pad has now been with me for two days.

My review: 2 our of 5 stars

Not real happy with it. It's stupidly designed, so that when you turn it around to the other side, the writing is upside down, so you have to make an extra turn to put it right (or turn it over side to side - which is stupid, as it is wider than tall so it's less natural to do that). But what is much worse, is the fact that it has 4 little semi-circle pieces of rubber feet in every corner - but the feet come off really easily... feh! This thing came apart within hours of using it. My verdict - AVOID.

So, I'm still looking for a good mouse pad

Why don't you get the razer exactmat? I love mine, everyone else loves theirs, it looks awesome. Just get that one, be done with this, and be happy

Meanwhile, in other places they sell it with a wrist rest... and I don't want to buy it with that stupid wrist rest thingy.

Amazon sells it for $40 - the wrist thing is separate. It comes with it, but you could re-sell that or just toss it or something. Either way you get the exactmat . Also, i'm not familiar with this reseller, but here's one place that sells it for $27, without the wrist-rest thing. It *SAYS* it's in stock, but who knows.

There is some bad press on the seller from Tom's Hardware. I just ordered, I like to give folks a change. OWC sells them as well.

If mine arrives (the tracking info he sent shows it being sent to the wrong address), I will let you know how it goes.

Show stopping doesn't do it justice. More like hermit-like cabin in the woods. There is no way I would EVER buy anything from that company after reading David Free's rant in the imac forum.

Calling the guy from Tom's Hardware an illegal immigrant just because he's not white ... there's no way I would ever give that company my money.

Actually, I did not receive it. It seems I have fallen victim to the same crap as others have.

Right now he is busy trying to save face from another botched order on twitter. He also has picked up a fan on twitter who rushes to his defense. These people are scams, stay far away.'

I use a Ripper XXL. 36 inches by 18 inches. NEVER run of mousing surface during an intense gaming session again!

Availability and places to buy from are pretty scarce though. I only found two online shops that sell it so far, and it's pretty expensive, at $50...

Mine makes some noise w/ my razer exactmat... not sure if i would use the term "shockingly" though.
