I was thinking it would be nice if you could go to your profile and not only see all your post and all your threads you started, but also to have the ability to see if someone quoted you.
This way if someone responds to you or has a question and has quoted you then you have the ability to see this.

Is this option already available some how?

I would also like this

I thinks this would be very neat!!!!

A bit of an ego boost to be quoted!!( Hey look, I matter!!!)

However, there is a lot of quoting done here on the forums, and while I'm not conversant with the way the forums work, I would imagine a "Quote Notification" system would be large, bulky, cumbersome, and eat up muy bandwidth.

I third/fourth this request!

While I tend to keep an eye on update notifications, if the thread is busy I often miss a reply. This would be a great way of ensuring you get a chance to respond.

If it's a modified version of the thread notifications which are already here, it could actually take less bandwidth - since you'd only be notified of quotes of your messages, not all replies.

i've often thought that this would be a great feature. but alas i don't think there is any way to really implement it.

Search for "Posted by erandall38" is a hacky way to do it
