suggestion on hardware raid device for AEBS

I'm having trouble figuring out which devices are hardware and which are software raid. I think the maxtor onetouch turbo is hardware, and the WD MyBooks are software.


Can anyone suggest a decent enclosure or product ? I'd like to have 1TB (or larger) of usable space in a mirrored RAID configuration.
