Hi MR Community,

Any easy ways to offer a suggestion to Apple for a requested feature: By easy, I mean email.... I do not Tweet etc...

I have 1000s of photos that need to be organized. Creating albums is easy enough - but in the all photo field - organized photos are not identified. Have I filed it?

Request: a view feature that is ONLY Un-Organized photos - "All Photos that are not in an Album" - like files outside a folder. The end state for is this would be an empty view since every photo is in an Album of some sort.

Seems like a reasonable request. LOL

Cheers,
IJ

Email? I don't think so. And even if there was they would not reply beyond a form response.

They do have web forms for both iOS and MacOS versions of Photos:

Thank you - that was exactly what I was looking for. All this shelter in place time - I would love to put 20k+ photos in albums... but tierd of not knowing if it has been done or not....

I am listening to MPU episode 537. It was mentioned on passing that (on Mac OS: this is not possible on iOS/iPadOS) that you can create a smart album to hold all pictures which are not in an album. Would this fill your need?

A Smart Album is the right approach, as you want something that automatically updates its contents.

I think I may have found what you need in existing Smart Album conditions: [Album] [is not] [Any].

I haven't tested it thoroughly, but so far, it looks right - if I add an image from that Smart Album to another album, it disappears from the Smart Album.
