Previously, when I wanted to share eg a photo using the share button, a suggested list of who I'd like to share it with popped up. That's one of my favorite features, so I don't have to type in recipient's name every time. I don't get this anymore (iPhone X, iOS14.0). Do you know how I can get it back?

I’m getting a mix, first being airdrop, then it mixes between WhatsApp, iMessage and messenger. 😊

Make sure to switch on “Suggestions when Sharing” in Settings > Siri & Search (iOS/iPadOS 14).

When I go to share a photo I’ve lost all my contacts to share with. It started on beta and still hasn’t resolved itself for me. Same with iPad and iPhone on iOS 14. Siri share suggestions is turned on . Thanks

Used to have a list of my recently- or frequently-contacted people in the share sheet. Made it super simple to send photos. Now those contacts are gone. I didn’t change any settings as far as I know. Any specifics to check?

Occurring on both iPad and iPhone.

My iPhone and iPad perform very differently with this. the Ipad shows iMessage people, the iPhone never does even though Messages is listed as a share destination. It's a bit annoying.

Similar issue - contacts show, but ONLY those using Apple devices/iM (no Android users at all) and they are not updated/shifted chronologically.

Mine vanished the other day and I have no idea why. Siri & Search still has the toggle ON for sharing. Weird.

It’s really odd. One one iPhone that I own it works partially and on the other just only shows WhatsApp and iMessages as shortcuts. Nothing else.

Even more odd because, for me, it wasn’t a restart or an iOS update or anything that triggered it. It was just suddenly gone.

I followed these instructions from an apple forum and it fixed it for me. Basically you go into
Settings -- Siri & Search

Then you scroll down to the bottom where the apps are listed, and select the Messages app

Then in the next menu you make sure "Learn from this app" is turned on for the Messages app

Once that "Learn" setting is on for the messages app, Then Siri will make suggestions in your share sheet going forward after you send a few messages to a few contacts
