I live in a caravan most of the year off grid in Australia. Currently have a Microsoft Surface Pro with a 12 volt cable sold by Microsoft that can run the Surface Pro from a 12 volt socket.

I really want to buy the new M2 MacBook Air as I have a 26” iMac when at home and everything is Apple.

But I don’t see any such option from Apple.

Whilst travelling we have a power station that has a 300 watt inverter plug on it but not sure if it’s safe to use with the MacBook Air.

The link on eBay where I bought it is here and the description talks about overload protection etc.

If anyone here is more knowledgeable than me can have a read and advise me if they think it would be fine. I kinda feel it is but not sure. Having trouble finding anything on using Macs when off grid.

No problem. I figure that's the obvious answer that most people overlook.

If you find a good for a mobile charger or if somebody else has ideas, please let me know because this is something I would probably buy.
