Summer iPhone 7 = iPhone 6Ss?

It feels with these halo OLED rumors pitching at the distant 2017/18 - iPhone 7 refresh will be more like a 6Ss/6SE?

It might be that SE launch in in full-swing so Apple's downplaying iPhone 7 at the moment / plus they're different segment.

Though do you expect anything much dramatically new?

I disagree.

It's common for people, this site, companies etc to already be discussing and working on the product after next. I believe Apple is already done its work with the iPhone 7 and has already moved on to 7S or whatever.

This, Apple are probably working on the iPhone 8 by now, this is why they know they want the OLED displays. The iPhone 7 will arrive in September, it will undoubtedly be better than the iPhone 6S, maybe it will have 256GB option with a dual camera and maybe a few other features that we don't know about.

Exactly. I think most reasonable people don't even care about a new design. Give us better battery life, a better camera, faster TouchID, more LTE bands etc and we'll be happy!

Considering that most people put their phones in cases anyway (which Apple also sell) I don't think it matters that much. I'm more interested in features and I think Apple know that they have to give people a reason to upgrade, they knew that with the 6S and I think that's why they made it the biggest S upgrade so far.

Call me shallow but I care about aesthetics more than any of that other stuff. Apart from better TouchID. If they can just fix that so that it actually works more than 70% of the time I'll be buying the 7 as soon as it's released.

Ironic that you say that, since so many people here complain that the touch id on the 6s is too fast.

The are not HALO Rumors Apple will be introducing the iPhone Pro in Summer 2017 IMO The Same Way thye did the Ipad Pro 9.7 yesterday. How. ?

The iPhone 6s May not even get much of an Update this Year What can they Add to It Seriously. ??
Study Apple's behavior and patterns. Heck Apple just hired a bunch of OLED Engineers.

Two ways

October 2016 they iPhone 6s and 6s Plus get a Price Drop and no Update or Apple introduces and iPhone 7 which looks alot like the iPhone 6s does. But in March of 2017 they Launch the iPhone Pro just like they announced the iPad Pro 9.7 inch last wee.

As my other thread states Apple is Introducing a 2 Tiered System Rich and Poor as they have with their other Lines

iPad and iPad Pro
MacBook and Macbook Pro
iPhone and iPhone Pro

Keep in MInd many successful industries do this 2 tiered system

GM has Chevy and Cadillac
Toyota and Lexus
Honda and ACURA
McDonalds or FIVE Guys same product just Better and more expensive in our class based society

I guess we're just opposite. Obv I like classy looking high end electronics but what they can do for me function wise is most important.
