Hey, summer rocks, You can't go to the beach in the winter with snow on the sand, It makes for cold walks and frostbite.:p

if you like beaches... frankly I don't so I'm not missing much. though Manchester is building it's own beach. I swear we're the little inner-country city that could.

Yep, that's pretty warm.... Good thing it's cooling off at night though, 17°C is a nice drop after 42°C during the day.

That's what I miss living down here on the coast rather then in the mountains where I used to be, you'd get hot days like that up there but it would cool right off at night, down here it'll be 40°C+ during the day but then the humidity keeps the heat in and it will cool down to maybe 30°C (85°F) at night - awful stuff, you spend all of summer trying to get to sleep.

Don't forget either that I took that screengrab at 7pmish, so obviously the temperature was cooling off. Why, at the hottest part of the day today, temperatures here reached a balmy 17°C...

Ooohhh, time to hit the beach at Cleethorpes I think :)

Pfft, luxury. Six months in our summer that would've seemed nice and cool.

Lol. All of a sudden this whole thread became the old men scene from Mony Python. "we lived in a shoe box in the middle of the road" "pfft, luxury!"

As i detest everything dashboard I won't be showing you my widgets but its in the 80-90's here today too. I <3 it to death.

Going to school in San Francisco make you really appreciate the weather down here on the peninsula. I think I make take a bike ride in the near future just to enjoy it some more.

Yep, that was the point.

You go to school in San Fran? Hah!! You were lucky!!

We were in the 90's with high humidity today. I could hardly stand going outside to go meet the hubby. :D

First day of summer, days will be getting shorter. Fall is coming. :)

Yeah, was reminded by our TV weatherman of that fact. Sad since work has been such a bear of late. Haven't gotten to enjoy the longer days so far, and less likely as the months go on. :(

Psht, no one does summer like Southern Arizona. It's been summer here for the past two months. This screenshot was taken at 8:45pm.

This is off-topic, but this thread made me think of asking...

I've noticed that the OS X weather widget can be either red or blue, but what determines this?

the "red"/maroon color i think is for night where blue is day

Cooled off, but now it's just plain muggy. I prefer hot and muggy, makes me feel better about running the AC.
