summerboard HELP PLZ

i have an ipod touch 1.1.1 firmware, i have tried to install summerboard with instaler after i choose the my theme i restart my ipod but nothing changes is there something else i forgot to do? the version of thr summerboard is 3.0b1 what can i do

Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I might be wrong, but I thought "a" was for 1.1.1 and "b" was for 1.1.2. If so, you might have to manually install the "a" version.

would it be fair to assume by "restart my ipod" you mean you slid to unlock??
You need to actually shut down and restart your ipod before summerboard will work....

It tells you to do this on install.....
