iPod touch Summerboard INFO Help

First off, ive seen people have been having problems using it after jailbreak, do i get the summerboard off installer app or online somewhere? secondly, how do i obtain themes? Thanks

Themes come off Installer.app

SummerBoard 1.1.1 comes from http://www.apptapp.com/summerboard/ NOT Installer.app.

so after iget it off the website what do u get off the installer app? and after i extract summerboard, how do i put it on? Thanks again

Use Cyberduck (or the FTP program you've been using) for the following.


Copy the files to your iPhone as follows:

SummerBoard.framework -> /Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
SMBPrefs.app -> /Applications/SMBPrefs.app
Themes -> /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
com.apple.SpringBoard.plist -> /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

Use Cyberduck (or the FTP program you've been using) for the following.


Copy the files to your iPhone as follows:

SummerBoard.framework -> /Library/Frameworks/SummerBoard.framework
SMBPrefs.app -> /Applications/SMBPrefs.app
Themes -> /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
com.apple.SpringBoard.plist -> /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

so each indiidual part go in different folders, thanks,

ive seen some people saying that this method makes their ipod crash, does that mean they have to resore and jailbreak again? or can u just delete it if it doesnt work?
