macOS Sun RPC rpcgen on Mac OS X

Did everyone ever try to use Sun PRC on Mac OS X? The OS comes with the code generation program rpcgen and it happily creates code. But the code is riddled with errors (it compiles, with warnings) but it doesn't run properly.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone ever created an Sun RPC on Mac OS X with the standard tools that come with it.

Disappointing.

Your comment was posted long ago... I realize that my desires don't include XML or Java or SOAP.... but you would think that the simplest most basic RPC client/server RPC code and rpcgen would create something usable. I can't get it to work either.
