I hate Sundays and I hate Sunday nights. After 36 hours of ignoring all things teaching, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night means grading, lesson planning, handout making ... so much of the stuff that makes teaching so dreadful.
I remember when I started teaching I thought that Sunday night blues were just part of the job -- a depression rooted in an extended work week that only teachers had to deal with. But then when I moved over to IT, I found out that I would get really bummed on Sunday nights even though I had no prep work to do ... I couldn't stand the thought of staring down another week of a job I hated so much.
Sundays are such dreadful anticipation ...
