Sunglasses working with Face ID?

Does anyone know if Face ID will work while your wearing sunglasses? Never heard anyone say. Heard glasses, but nothing about sunglasses.

Supposedly, as long as your sunglasses don't block IR light it will work. If it doesn't work with sunglasses on though, that's just another reason to have TouchID along with FaceID. TID in the summer, FID in the winter.

Not wearing sunglasses on sunny days in winter is just as harmful. Please educate yourself. It may save your eyesight one day.

That is what I am hoping. Just did not hear anything said about it.

I don't think so... since it requires u to look at the phone?

sunglasses probably won't work but you can turn off the "attention setting" so it won't care if eyes are closed and then it should work.

Face ID does not work for me when wearing Ray-Ban Club Masters. No way. Works if I turn off "Require Attention...".

I have a pair of regular Ray Bans, a pair of polarized Ray Bans and a pair of polarized Shady Rays and they all work fine with attention turned on.
