Hello, just installed Sunrise on my iPhone. It asked me to either login or create a new account. After I entered my email address, it asked for password. Is it a new password to use Sunrise or a password for my personal email account? Is it save to enter the password for my email account on this app? Don't know if such information will be sent to the developer.

It's the password for your Sunrise account. I tried it for a while, but I always go back to Informant.
OP, FYI don't get too used to Sunrise as it's going away sometime soon, as soon as a couple more of Sunrise's features are baked into Outlook app and the migration of Sunrise's backend is moved from AWS to Azure (as are the Outlook cloud services and the Outlook iOS app). MS bought the devs about a year ago. BTW, you've posted in the Mac Apps thread...
