Hi all,

We've made a very accurate and very local weather app called Sunshine. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sunshineo/id959396618?mt=8

We're running our own weather forecast algorithms that incorporate your feedback into the forecast itself. Also, we're taking advantage of the new sensors in iPhones, such as the barometer that Apple added in the iPhone 6. When we combine all your atmosphere sensor data together with your community input, we find that our forecasts are more accurate than any others!

I'm one of the developers at Sunshine and would be happy to answer any questions you have. You can also read more on our website:

Hi Jessica, thanks for your kind words!

We are certainly considering adding a widget in an update. A few users have asked for this so I think we will probably add it. Also, one of our goals is to make your weather experience simple and fast, so a widget would be a good idea!
