My friend moved to Beijing for work after graduating. She woke up - 6:30am her time - to go to the bar for breakfast and beer.
As I'm sitting in Chicago, nothing crazy here. Pizza already delivered, ready to go. Really not that excited for the game though.

I didn't even know today was the super bowl until waaay late in the afternoon when my Mom called and told me.
It's too bad the Pats didn't route the Giants. I was rooting for the Pats.

The game itself was pretty boring and the commercials were horrible too. The half time show was ho hum.
Congrats to the Giants though. Very well played and talk about catching on fire at the right time! Good stuff.

I always root against NY teams so I was disappointed, but as Boston is not really my team, no tremendous angst there. They should call Brady the laser. I agree the commercials were mediocre. Where did all the creativity go? Did I mention I detest Bud?

I thought so, for the most part it was pretty medicore as far as super bowls go. However I will agree the last ditch effert by the team from Boston was fun to watch. The last three minutes or so were pretty good.
Ive watched many and a lot we're so one sided. Glad the last decade as been good.

That I will agree with, the 50-10 scores where the game is over by the end of the first half. This one was just a boring game to me. Maybe because the commercials were not that good, or the fact we didn't have any really specatular plays like one might expect from a super bowl game.

Seriously? Oh that just sucks...... Well you really didn't miss much this year, if you can just check youtube for the commercials. They were two I found funny the rest were blah.
I think people who were expecting a shootout with a lot of touchdowns were disappointed. We got the shootout, but a fairly typical number of TDs. If you enjoy close games, however, it was quite enjoyable.
No kidding. Remember when we had that long stretch of one-sided games and everybody was complaining that the Super Bowl stunk?
