furcalchick macrumors 68020 Original poster Jun 9, 2007 #1 i just backed up my hard drive using super dupe this week, and apparently, my backup hd space comes up to be about 5 gb less than the original. is this a feature of super duper or should i try cloning it again?

robbieduncan Moderator emeritus Jun 9, 2007 #2 SuperDuper doesn't copy OS cache files and the like when performing a backup so that seems reasonable.
