The thing...like an SVCD player?
Here's an example of a Sony one.
Will SVCDs play on DVD Players?
On some, not on all.
ok...i'll try on mine later...ty
most should, any decent brand should my Panasonic does
They work on my Philips too (although only 4:3 discs work, 16:9 ones get stretched). The easiest thing to do is just try it
There are countless players that are VCD compatible!
Just check the technical specifications of a player you are interested in.
Now-a-days, the majority of players are compatible with an array of formats; VCD, SACD, MP3CD, DVD, DVDA, etc. - even the cheap ones!
A year ago I got my Grandparents a DVD player made by Xoro. It plays everything. SVCD, Divx, Xvid, MP3s, never had trouble with any format. They are cheap and not so well built.
They had to get a replacement, because the first player just gave up. But now everything works great.
Exactly! I can't believe how cheap you can get some DVD players for now... Compared to 5 years ago it's crazy!
- I'm not complaining
Mine was free from the phone company as a "loyalty thanks"
...As cheap as they come!
This website has a lot of useful information regarding your question.
Yeah i found that site off google too...it's pretty cool now that i know how to encode videos the right way (its pretty easy) on Windows though cos the software are easily available unlike the Mac where u have to spend money which sucks to me...
