Does anyone know how I can watch the Superbowl live in HD without a cable subscription this year? I have an iPhone I can mirror to the Apple TV if I have to. Any ideas will help. Thank You!

Where are you located, can you not just watch it OTA with an antenna?

can't stream to smartphones because of a Verizon contract. However, the iPad is not a smart phone so its allowed.

Sadly I've already tried that, NBC is not available OTA in my location.

I don't have an iPad that can AirPlay to Apple TV

The nbcsports live extra app for iPad is not requiring a cable subscription to view the Super Bowl this year. You can AirPlay it to your TV if you like.

I think I read that "mobile" isn't allowed and may only work for the iPad. I'm not sure.

Then I think your last bastion is www.nbcsports.com/liveextra you can watch it on your computer. If you have all the adapters and such, you can hook your computer up to your TV as a second monitor.
