As the title says my copy of starcraft got scuffed 5 min ago. Superdrive randomly started reading as i was carrying my MB with one hand. I guess the case flexed as i heard some heavy rubbing sounds and the disk came out all scratched. I had just installed it on bootcamp, checked the disk by installing on osx and got a read error.

So lesson learned, keep two hands on your macbook

...Or don't move your computer at all while it's doing something.

    (still a bummer...)

That's bad but I suppose SuperDrives get hungry just like the rest of us. :D

Somewhere in the instruction manual it says don't move the mbp while in operation. I think it's especially dangerous when the hdd or superdrive is spinning. I once experienced this too, but i only heard a little scratching of the cd and took it out immediately... no damage.
