I recently have been having problems with my superdrive and was wondering if anyone else has had these or heard of them. First of all ever since Ive had it, the superdrive has always been real noisy. Now more recently it has been having problems reading discs at all. I know the discs have some minor cosmetic scratches but they work perfectly fine in my other computers and DVD players.

Anyone know if this could be fixed with cd player cleaner? or if I should even use one of this on my superdrive since its slot loading. If the problem continues I guess I will have to buy a new one on eBay for a ridiculous price and replace it since I have no warranty left.

Don't worry, my Superdrive sucks too. Had the first one replaced due to not working at all. Now my replacement one is picky, but it works at least. If there is even a slight scratch on a DVD mine will throw a fit and act all choppy or complain that the disc is "damaged".
