hello!

ive got a powermac g5 at work and ive just noticed my writer isnt working correctly. I burn with toast and it appears to have burnt but when i test it on other computers (mac & pc) the cd shows up as a blank disc. My computer keeps spitting cds out at random too without me pressing anything.

the blank cds or toast are not the problem as I have been using these with no issues for a while. I have done no software updates or installed anything.

The mac is about 2 years old, any suggestions?
Thanks Laura
