How loud is the SuperDrive on the Mac Pro? Does it get loud when accessing a disk or when the CD/DVD is spinning? Thanks.
 
SuperDrive is just a fancy name for OEMed DVD burners (mine is Pioneer 112D). DVD-ROM's will often read/write at multiple speeds which cause the wind up and wind down nose.
