I have a question... If I intend to buy a 12" iBook, but choose to upgrade the combo to a superdrive, could it be done, instantly, on an Apple Retail Store? If not, how does this proccess? Not interested in Online Store, do they have like a deadline for delivering upgraded models in a retail store?

Anything other than adding RAM is a build-to-order option, and can only be done online. A superdrive, also, is not even a build-to-order option on the 12" iBook. You'll have to either get a 14", or find a 3rd party that can install one (just make sure they're Apple Certified, otherwise you'll void your warranty)
