SuperDrive won't read DVDs

My superdrive is all of the sudden refusing to read DVDs. It reads CDs just fine, and I burned a DVD just a couple hours ago. any ideas?

From system profiler: MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-845E

From a firmware perspective, try resetting the PRAM and if that doesn't work, reset the PMU. 🙂

actually, a simple reset seems to have solved it. thanks though.
