I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me:

    1. What is it made of? I can't tell if its made of plastic or aluminium and it doesn't mention on the apple store or Amazon etc.

    2. Do you get education pricing on it in the U.K. I tried to look at it whilst in uni and connected to their server but it wouldn't come up on my phone!

    Cheers.

A superdrive?? It's metal... You also can't buy it from Apple. I'm guessing this isn't what your talking about though..

Of course you can buy it from Apple. Why would you think otherwise?

In the US: Apple USB SuperDrive

In the UK: Apple USB SuperDrive

Well damn, I got screwed. I was assuming he was talking about the internal superdrive on macs. I didn't realize they used the same name for the external drive.

Yeah sorry, perhaps I should have made myself clearer - I'm talking about the external one.

So does anyone know the answers?

    Cheers.

The case is made of aluminum and there is no education discount on it in the U.S. Check with your school to see if there is a discount available, but I doubt there is on that device.
