Long time reader, first time poster here.
SuperDuper! is reporting an "Effective copy speed" of 1.42 MB/s & 0.68 MB/s, when backing up to my SimpleShare 500 NAS mounted via CIFS & NFS, respectively. Do these numbers sound right; is my home network not properly set-up?
I am running a 1.5 GHz PB G4, connected to Simpleshare via wired connection to a Linksys 10/100 5-Port switch. The switch uplink is connected to an Airport Express, that is running as a WDS remote base station.
Any thoughts?
