Dear all
I am getting desperate. After installing the new supplemental update for 10.10.3 my wifi connection stopped working. It is possible to connect to my router but when I try to open a webpage it cannot get any connection. No other app like chrome or Dropbox connects as well. This also applies if I try to connect to different routers. when I connect with any iOS phone or tablet it works fine. So there is an internet connection. I tried the following:
Deleting recommended plist files.
Delete cache or or any other temporary data
changed channel on the router
renewed DHCP leasing
set up a completely new connection via network preferences
Reset smc
When I start in recovery mode I do have however internet connection and I can browse. I am not sure if it was a bug or some leftover in the Notification Center but I got a notification from a recent FB post. That's really strange. Might it be that only certain ports are affected? Who else has this issue?
WHat at can I do? Since the recent update only a couple of days ago I cannot get it running. I really need my macbook (late 2008) for work. I never had any issues with wifi
kind regards
daniel
