I have a superb Dell LCD (SP2208WFP) from back in the day when I was a Windows kiddie. Recently I bought the mini DisplayPort to DVI adaptor, and I have happily escaped my cramped MacBook Pro screen.

This monitor includes two other fantastic features: a four-port USB hub and an integrated webcam. All you need to do to get these working is attach the monitor to the computer via USB.

The hub works great, but the integrated webcam isn't recognized. Is there anyway at all to find drivers for an integrated webcam?

    Thanks in advanced!

Have you tried macam or other such programs? Doing a quick search, it doesn't seem that your monitor supports Mac OS X natively, but I've had luck getting non-Mac USB webcams working with macam so it may work for the built in webcam.

Never mind, I managed to figure out the problem. Apparently, I can't use the webcam while the laptop screen is up. Thanks for the help!
