Sure/certain way to download complete Catalina image?

Can someone tell me how to get the entire install image for Catalina in a sure/certain fashion, and what is the final file name? Tried repeatedly but only get the downloader, not the entire image I need.

Same question for Mojave btw....

You could get the install image from the Mac App Store, if you search for "macOS Catalina". Choosing the "get" option brings you to Software Update on your Mac where the entire 8 GB image will download into your Applications folder, called "Install macOS Catalina".

Those links might work. I downloaded Catalina the other day from the App Store. When it completes downloading, it starts the installer, so you have to CMD-Q to stop it. After that, it will be available in your Applications folder as Install macOS Catalina.app.

Please let us know if the links you posted work. I would like to get a full installer for Mojave. I don't think it's available through the App Store anymore.

Those are not full installers, they're just updates to be applied if Mojave and Catalina are already installed.
