One of the things that confuses me is the release of Windows RT tablets along side (soon) Pro tablets. Surely there is not room for both?.

Intel is on a bender to get SOC's out there with good battery life so it's only a matter of a year or 2 before acceptable battery life Pro tablets hit the market. What then for RT ? - It seems it's a temporary measure that has no longevity .

The question is, why would you not wait for a longer battery life Pro tablet. If you bought an RT tablet now, by the time a smallish amount of apps are built for it, it will then get eclipsed by Pro tablets with better battery life intel SOC's (probably cheaper to) . There would be no incentive to buy a RT tablet rendering them a dead line. It seems RT has a short life span, so why buy into it?

Just my 2 cents anyway.
