I have a emac and i want to have surround sound on it. So I need a external sound card that has a optical out. Does anyone recommend one? I don't want one that is expensive.😉

Your source material AND your software you play it with will have to have surround content and capability, naturally.

They don't go cheap. Is there any that don't decode, because i will have a external decoder.🙂 Thanks

firewire hub thingy

i believe there are several options that offer a surroound option through firewire or posibly usb. i cant think of any names off the top of my head, but i think they are out there.
