Swap RAM from Macbook to Macbook Pro?

Hi,
My old macbook is coming to the end of it life, (late 2008 aluminium). I'm changing to an Air, but I was wondering if I could swap the ram over into my gfs 2013 MBP as I have 8GB in it compared to 4 in the MBP.

You could, but since your RAM is either 1066 MHz or 1333 MHz RAM, it might not work for a MBP that comes with 1600 MHz RAM. You can always try though, the pin number is the same.

If your MBP is a Retina model the RAM isn't upgradeable after purchase. It is soldered in.
