Long time android user here just upgraded to iphone 6 plus. I know I can't keep my apps but how about all my other stuff

Anything I need to know about ios seeing I'm coming from android

What stuff are you talking about? Music, movies, calendar and contacts?
All of those can be synced with your new iphone. You can get gmail or any other email through your new iphone as well.

I have a lot on Google drive can Google drive work on iphone our at lest transfer everything to apples cloud

I switch between Android and iphone a lot. You can sync all of your gmail and calendar on your iphone. You don't have to use the icloud as your gdrive will work just fine if that is what you want to use.

Hope this helps.
For music...just open itunes. Go up to the top left corner and click on "file" then "add to library" and point it to where all of you music is stored. It will import your music in itunes. then you can sync it on your iphone.
