I just bought a Late 2011 MBP 17 with glossy screen from eBay to upgrade from 2010 MBP 17 with anti-glare. I use my MBP mostly on a desk at work so glare may not be a big issue but I'm kinda used to the AG screen and I love that compared to the regular glossy screen. Of course because I bought the 2011 MBP at a great price so could not be picky and choose the AG.

I'd like the performance boost of this new one but I'd much prefer getting AG screen. but I'm just wondering how difficult it is to swap the glossy screen out for a AG screen.

Thanks for the quick reply. Once I take the LCD portion off from the body can I just put the anti-glare LCD on and assemble back on? I assume it's just the panel that's different for AG and cables and other parts are the same.
