Swapping HHD in MBP

Hello all

My company is replacing my MBP 13" 2.4 processor with another MBP 13" but 2.66 processor model. My question is: Can I simply swap hard drives from the old to new or should I use Mac's transfer wizard to migrate the data?

If they're up to date in Software Update, swapping the hard drives will work fine.

yes, I do this quite often.

OS X has drivers for any device it can run on.
of course not including hackingtoshs and Recently updated machines, you your case your fine.
