I would honestly buy this in a heart beat! I feel as though we are spoiling our selves with these mock ups and then when it is released we will be dissappointed.

Best phone mockup of any kind I've seen. Apple should think about hiring that guy :) My only complaint is the aspect ratio. I hate the 16:9 or 16:10 ratio on phones. I use my phone vertically, not horizontally.

I actually think it would be better to hold up as a phone. It may be just me but the top edge of my iPhone 4 starts to press against and hurt my ear after a while because of the way I hold it. The rounded top would help that I think.

To be honest, I don't like it.
Again, I'm just stating my opinion.

On a side note, it does remind me of the second generation iPod nano!

these flat glass front and back would break on first day! Remember the iPhone 4 Design only works because of the plastic bordering which is higher then the glass thick.

notification LEDs:
imagine the LED(s) would be done like the invisible ones one the aluminum MacBooks in the metal-frame of the iPhone 4! awesome!

I was fully expecting another terrible design. Big points for proving me wrong :)

This is gorgeous. I think the inspiration came from the Nano watch, eh?

Horrible.

The iPhone 4 is reminiscent of many great product designs from the middle of the 20th century. Specifically, things like hand-held radios and personal cameras.

This mockup, however, is reminiscent of a makeup compact case.

I dare anyone to explain to me how that's an improvement.

EDIT: And, because I keep staring at this thing...what's the deal with the glass front being glued on TOP of the phone? Is it suppposed to pop off or something? Flip up? Or is it just done for no reason? And the beveled edge of the glass that brings it back down to the edge, but not quite enough to reach the edge of the phone? I'm trying to find words for how strange that is and I'm having trouble coming up with sufficient adjectives.

I dare you, sir, to explain to me how anyone should explain their opinion to you without expecting you to argue with them based on your clearly firm stance against compact makeup cases.

I, on the other hand, love my Mabeline. K?
