    Hello all,

I'm interested in learning a programming language, swift is new and i'm wondering if you need to know OBJ-C before learning Swift?

Also, if there are any good resources for learning?

Thanks for your reply, but SWIFT 2 is out now, so do I learn 1 before learning 2, or go straight to SWIFT 2?

    Confused: please help.

Go straight to Swift 2. There's an ebook for that too.

Your learning so by the time your're ready to produce anything real, Swift 2 will be the new standard.
