I haven't had a single issue with it in the ten days I've been using it.

Have you ever tried to swipe to move to the top of a long list, like twitter? It's very annoying. I know it's a beta

You don't swipe to go to the top. You tap.

On the beta I have problem playing games all the time, Flight control cant be played because im constantly puling the bar down.

its a bad system if you ask me.

It's a system in its Beta days. You agreed to all of these minor annoyances when you installed it.

You must have a different version, because tapping does absoultely nothing in twitter to get it to move to the top. I have to swipe down to get it to move.

i have no issue at all in games or a long list, i start from just off the screen to pull down and it seems to override the app

Wait which way are you referring to? It sounds like you are talking about the notification bar, which yes, overrides everything. I'm talking about the actual twitter bar. The trigger to get twitter to understand you want to move to the top is the top of the twitter bar, which is the bottom of the notification center. Kaynyl claims you can tap the twitter bar but it doesn't work for me.

Yea, never had these problems on vanilla android 2.2 lol :D The swipe down thing ... just works, as they'd say.

:D

It is a beta though, so I'd expect it won't be a problem in the final build :) I hope!

the pull down for twitter is much lower than the notification bar, or is that not what you mean? or do you mean to scroll to the top of the tweet feed? in which case you tap the top of the screen, like around where the clock is.

Hmm, for the people who accidentally jump to the top when accessing the notification center, how fast/slow do you swipe? I currently have SBSettings set to swipe down from the status bar (on 4.2.8) and I've never had that problem. Then again, maybe it has something to do with how Apple coded the swipe.

Ahhh, once you said clock I understood. Ok, then nevermind. It jumps to the top with a tap. Thank you.

Fixed!

Hey guys, I want to let you all know that this issue has been fixed in the recent release of iOS5 Beta 3.

On full screen apps only, when you swipe near the top, a little tab comes down but DOES NOT pause the game or interrupt. If you ignore it and keep playing, it goes away. Otherwise, you can swipe it down again to see the notification bar. A great solution I think!

Hopefully they'll steal the details of this from the jailbreak community as well. Infoshade in Lockinfo works this way and has not been too nintrusive for me.

Yeah I use Lock Info's infoshade and it works perfectly. Swipe down and there it is, but it never swipes down accidentally.
