I'm not a fan of this... sometimes while sliding a slider (like with Liquid Glass tint setting), it tries to go to the previous settings page. I've only noticed it in settings, but you can swipe from left edge of the screen to right edge to go to the previous menu.

Has anyone found a way to disable it?

Perhaps so and maybe the bug is surfacing with iOS 27. Frequently sliding settings (like Liquid Glass transparency) is triggering it to go to the previous page.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but hasn't this been a gesture in iOS since almost the beginning?
Yeah it’s been around awhile. It also works to go back/forward a page in Safari, and if you do it over the url, it will cycle between tabs. Also if you do it at the very bottom of the screen it will cycle between open apps.
