Just installed this and I absolutely love it. Hopefully it won't misinterpret my typing and move the cursor, but that hasn't happened yet.

I do wish you could swipe up to move up a line of text with both the cursor and when selecting text. I can see how that would be tough to implement, but it'd be nice if they could figure it out.

Just installed it. Thank you so much for letting me know about this great tweak!

And I agree with the poster above - would be AWESOME If in the future they could implement some way to scroll up to a line of text.

It's a bit gitchy when you try to convert the compact keyboard mode into full, but still worth.

Does anyone have this tweak with a custom keyboard? I've been thinking about getting a colored keyboard but with all the connection issues with Cydia this weekend I never got around to it.

i love the concept, but it didn't work out for me :(

every time i tried to type something in landscape mode (did not try portrait mode) the cursor thingy would go back 1 space or so before i finished.

instead of me typing Chapter 22
it would end up being Chapte22r and it was the same for majority of the words i typed... i would have to type at a normal pace to get it to not do any errors,

I would like to see this implemented into selecting, copying, and pasting text that is already written, right now it just messes up my typing and causes letters to not respond every once in a while (5 times in this paragraph)

Awesome. It works in mail and it works typing this in safari. You can move up and down by swiping left and right because it wraps around to be next line.

This is a legit tweak that I'm sure Apple will add. Just watched the video. Hats off the to Dev that created this! This is def a game changer!

It looks awesome going to give it a go, no hiccups so far? Safari crashes or freezing of any kind?

Other than slowing down fast typers, nothing bad. It doesnt work within Cydia or iFile from what I've noticed.

maybe im missing something but why would it slow fast typers, does it mistake quick hitting keys for swipes at times?

I do really love this tweak, but find it almost unusable for my typing style. For some reason, when i'm typing fast in landscape mode, my thumb slides a bit when hitting the space bar. This causes the cursor to move a few slots to the left pretty often, which gets very annoying.

It'd be great if the dev could either ignore certain keys or reduce the sensitivity a bit, so a bit of a longer drag is required to activate....

Also, would love for North/South ability by sliding up and down, instead of only being able to swipe left & right, and move up lines of text that way.

With that being said, it's a helluva cool tweak, and I cannot really complain with it being free! I'd love to see Apple polish it a bit and implement it in a future iOS.

I've just figured out how to perfect this tweak. It just came to me. A button.

Put a button up above the keyboard, next to where the "Next" and "Back" buttons would be, in that grey area. Call it "Swipe" and whenever you want to use the tweak, just tap the button. That'll turn this tweak on, then, whenever you're done editing, just tap the button again. That way you can type fast and have the swipeselect tweak all at the same time, without ever leaving the keyboard.

I noticed that if you let a touch input linger for a fraction of a second, the tweak does not register. The dev should turn it the other way around, a touch input longer than say a half second would register as a swipe selection.

its garbage, it screwed up my ipad 3 keyboard, constantly missed spaces and jumped into words, i removed it, now my keyboard is perfect again..

I wouldn't say it's garbage but definitely slows down fast typers. If they added some sort of toggle or way to turn on/off it would be perfect.

Had to remove it. Bummer. It was missing letters I typed for some reason, leading to constant misspellings.

Hopefully they can get this right in the future. I'd be happy to pay for it, if so.

Very cool tweak. It does seem to affect quick access to secondary keys. Like ?. Normally when i type and want a ?, i hold the 123 key and slide to ? and then let go. By doing this i don't have to hit the 123 key again to get back to letters. Will have to see how it goes. Would be good to disable the tweak on the lower line of the keyboard, that way quick access still works.

I have just typed this message really fast and cannot really see what you guys are complaining about. I am almost perpendicular to the keyboard though, maybe you guys are at an angle and so you slide your finger a bit? Or you're idea of fast is way faster than mine (I couldn't really go any faster).

Anyway, this tweak is amazing and instantly intuitive. Unlike other keyboard tweaks, I found myself instantly using it without much thought. My only issue is that if I wish to type consecutive capital letters, or any characters that require the shift function, I have to either double tap shift to put it into caps lock, or repeatedly press it for each key. It seems holding a key still makes it go into swipe mode.

EDIT: I should have said, I'm on iPad 2. Maybe the above problems are only with the Three.

I type pretty fast too but I also type sloppy. So I occasionally get a miss registration with this tweak, but I still love it.

This tweak would benefit with a slight modification to when the the swipe selection should trigger.
