Switch from VZW to T-Mob on Apples Upgrade Program

Hello, all.

I apologize in advance if you have seen this question before; however, after perusing all the messages, I have not yet seen a definitive answer or someone that is speaking from experience.

My question:

When I started my iPhone upgrade program, I selected VZW as my carrier. Now, half way through the first year, we have decided to switch to Tmobile.

Under Apples policy, is it OK to switch carriers in the middle of the program? If I do so, I am assuming once I am ready to upgrade, I can just upgrade under Mobile instead of VZW?

Also, I am assuming since all VZW phones are unlocked, Apples iPhone that I purchased with VZW service will not be an exception to this rule and should be fully unlocked and able to enter a T-Mobile SIM card?

Thanks. I read through that one and I agree it should work, but is it "OK" to to under Apples policy? And once the initial year is up, if I switch from VZW to Tmobile (will actually port my number over), I should be able to re-up my upgrade through mobile?

Please do not switch to T-Mobile. You will regret it and will get some unfavorable limitations like building penetration and universal coverage.

Just because you are having issues does not mean everyone else in every place in the US are having the same issues.

Your experience is not everyone else's.
