We hvae three family members, myself included, on a family plan with AT&T with a billing addres in San Francisco. I live in LA so I did not upgrade (even though I was eligible) through Apple and instead bought an iPhone 4S directly from AT&T with a new number and new contract (only because upgrading would have sent the phone to SF).
The iPhone 4S is out for delivery and I hope there is no issue taking my current iPhone 4 micro SIM and putting in the iPhne 4S and then calling AT&T to get it on the existing plan as an upgrade.
