switch to finder from a fullscreen app

hi there. i'd like to eventually switch to the finder while i'm playing some fullscreen games like COD2. i tried option-tab but it won't work. is there any other command? thanks

a lot of the time games will allow you to assign a keyboard shortcut that gets you out of full screen mode. Check the preferences. Apple-tab, apple-m, or apple-option-escape (force quit), sometimes bring you back in to finder.
