I am currently creating a presentation to influence the church i work for to switch over to macs. Mine is ok, but I need it to POP! It's going to take a lot of inluencing, but I knwo this is the right move as most of our problems stem from usng Windows based computers.

Does anyone have a similar presentation prepared or maybe a few ideas I could include? The switch would happen AFTER the intel switch, so that might be a bit of a road block until those are rolled out. Any ideas?

Use a Mac and Keynote for the presentation? Borrow a SallingClicker compatible phone for the presentation (or use your own, if you're so lucky), and do your presentation that way. Casually demonstrate Exposé while you're setting up the presentation.

Basically just show off. It has no material value, but it's a good psychological boost that sells itself without adding words to your presentation. If they are receptive to your concrete, objective points, the extra sway from how beautifully everything went will help persuade them and be on their minds, at least subconsciously.

Yes, definitely show off. Press shift while minimizing a video, use Expose (which never ceases to impress all my friends), show of the dock, make everything seem easy. Talk about the fact that there's no spyware and viruses.

The most important thing I've found in getting people to take your point is to be prepared and confident. Sound like you know what you're talking about. Sometimes the way you present yourself is more important that what you say.
