Hello!

Problem: When drawing on Graphical Tablet Cintiq 22(DTK2260) used as extended monitor , lines are often wobbly/jittery as if there is interference.

Unit and Peripherials:

Mac Mini M1 16GB (Ventura)

QHD Ultra wide LG monitor (connected through USB-C -> HDMI dongle)

Graphical Tablet Cintiq 22(DTK2260) (connected through HDMI (video) and USB-A (input))

Logitech MX keys + MX Master 3 on a single dongle

Software: Krita , GIMP

What i tried up to now:

- Updating driver - FAILED

- Discharging electrostatic build-up by pressing on/off button for 30 sec - FAILED

- Matching LG resolution as Wacom's - FAILED

- Connecting Mouse and Keyboard through bluetooth - FAILED

- Disconnecting mouse and keyboard and leaving LG Monitor - FAILED

- Disconnecting LG Monitor and leaving mouse and keyboard connected - WORKED
* The issue is clearly visible in the situations when the focus is on the LG screen and suddenly i return the focus to Krita by moving the pen over the canvas. After a short period (it varies) the jitteriness disappears by itself until moving back the focus on LG and the cycle repeats.

As of now , what I'm thinking might help is using some keyboard hotkeys that could trigger actions in apps on main screen , but without putting the focus on them. And from what i researched until now , this looks practically impossible. So the last chance would be buying another Unit , strictly for the main monitor - which sounds a bit crazy. What do you think, am i missing something here? :)

Thank you!

Thank you for your proposal , Slartibart! I already tried this guide few times , with all the necessary restarts and permissions granted, but .. no luck :/

Can you elaborate on what error exactly you run to? Is there some error message (which)?

There are no error messages displayed , just the jitteriness in the described scenarios above.

Here is an example (found it on reddit):

The general trajectory of the line is as intended but the line itself isn't straight. If you zoom a bit you will notice the small waves.

Thank you!

Sorry. I was referring to any error (message) when updating/installing the new Cintiq drivers?

In terms of the driver installation and general communication OS/Tablet i see nothing strange besides one error message which appears when attempting to access pen settings through Wacom Center.

I somehow decide not to stress on it , because when accessing the setting through System Settings (as the error message suggests) everything works fine and all the changes i do are reflected in the pen. In rest, all seems ok.
