Hello!
Problem: When drawing on Graphical Tablet Cintiq 22(DTK2260) used as extended monitor , lines are often wobbly/jittery as if there is interference.
Unit and Peripherials:
Mac Mini M1 16GB (Ventura)
QHD Ultra wide LG monitor (connected through USB-C -> HDMI dongle)
Graphical Tablet Cintiq 22(DTK2260) (connected through HDMI (video) and USB-A (input))
Logitech MX keys + MX Master 3 on a single dongle
Software: Krita , GIMP
What i tried up to now:
- Updating driver - FAILED
- Discharging electrostatic build-up by pressing on/off button for 30 sec - FAILED
- Matching LG resolution as Wacom's - FAILED
- Connecting Mouse and Keyboard through bluetooth - FAILED
- Disconnecting mouse and keyboard and leaving LG Monitor - FAILED
- Disconnecting LG Monitor and leaving mouse and keyboard connected - WORKED
* The issue is clearly visible in the situations when the focus is on the LG screen and suddenly i return the focus to Krita by moving the pen over the canvas. After a short period (it varies) the jitteriness disappears by itself until moving back the focus on LG and the cycle repeats.
As of now , what I'm thinking might help is using some keyboard hotkeys that could trigger actions in apps on main screen , but without putting the focus on them. And from what i researched until now , this looks practically impossible. So the last chance would be buying another Unit , strictly for the main monitor - which sounds a bit crazy. What do you think, am i missing something here?
Thank you!
