My wife and I both have black 16gb iPhone 4s but she wants a white one. Our contract doesn't end until April so instead of paying $650 I was gonna pay her sister, who is switching to AT&T for an iPhone to get a white one and just trade them. My question is: is all I have to do is swap the sim cards and resync everything? Do I have to worry about losing our unlimited data plan in doing this?

You'd do better calling ATT about a question like that

That's the beauty of having a GSM unit, u can change SIM at will. I wouldn't worry about anything as long as you're on the same iPhone unlimited data plan it should have no effect switching from one iPhone to the other.

It should be no problem at all. It's the same phone to AT&T so
they will not care. Just swap sims and re-sync to your iTunes
and you'll be fine.

Nothing will happen to your unlimited smartphone data as long as you don't use a phone that isn't a smartphone or unless you manually lower the data rate.
