I currently live in Chile, but travel often enough to the US that I'd like to know if this is doable.

I understand that for different regions, cellular Apple Watches are different, as they work in different bands. When you compare the ones sold in the US with the one sold in Chile, the Chilean Watch contains all the bands included in the US version and then a few more.

Taking that into account: is it possible for me to use the Apple Watch here in Chile, and then use it in the US - talking about the celullar functions, of course - if I get a plan there? I know I am able to get a second phone number easily via esim, but don't know if I can also use it in the Apple Watch just as easily. Is there a process to go through, as in go to the carrier to enable a second number for the watch?

Secondly, what happens if i take one of these mobile plans for travellers, like when you download an app (eg, GigSky) and jus enable the second number on your iPhone, is that doable as well for the watch?

Maybe all of this has been answered before and I just suck at searching, but thanks in advance.

Good question. I live in the U.K. and travel to USA and Germany, even Japan and Russia 🤮 once. Each time I just reset region in settings on iPhone with Apple Watch app set to mirror phone. I even keep the language as English and on occasion the time zone as London. Absolutely no issues what so ever.

Thanks Blackbun!
Just to clarify, when you travel, you switch your phone number to a local one, and the Watch can make/receive calls from that new number?
