Switching Edge to 3G on AT&T

Has anyone else noticed that switching between Edge and 3G is much much faster now. It only takes a second now vs. 30 seconds a couple weeks ago. Anyone know what happened?

I dunno. AT&T is really fast (for me)
Well, actually, I don't know what is considered really fast on a nation wide perspective, but my speeds are fine.

I dont think he means the speed, but going from being on the Edge data to the 3G used to take awhile.

I for one have noticed a change that its faster.

I noticed a significant increase in switching speed. AT&T probably upgraded something.
