I'm buying a new macbook pro soon and i want to transfer all my itunes music over to the mbp so I need to know what's the best portable hard drive for the job that's compatible with both a pc and a mac and how do i transfer it correctly. thank you. 🙂
 
You can also use a network connection between the Mac and your PC.

Any external HDD will do, as you can format them with whatever format you like.

FAT32 is the only file system though, that can be read and written to by both Mac OS X and Windows, but the maximum file size is 4GB per file.
